Heads up guys! We have a chance still and played 2 good games. We were a fluke goal, some iffy reffing and a few undisciplined penalties away from being up 2 0 on the 5 time (consecutive) pacific division champion ducks.
At the start of this year we would all agree we are still technically rebuilding. Now we are playing good hockey, but finding a way to lose in the playoffs. This series isnt over and we have a lot to be proud of, even more to look forward to in the upcoming seasons!
Cheer up and get behind the team. Game 3 has yet to be played and its at our rink. Some of you are acting like its the end of the world. Its not even the end of our season.
Its early and totally unecessary to nag about brouwer, refs, hamilton, brodie, gulutzan, elliott, bouma etc. We went on a huge winning streak and are blessed to just be in the playoffs. We arent cup contenders. We are a rebuilding team that squeeked into the playoffs after a bad start and are now developing our young core in the playoffs.
