If you want to single out individuals to blame for losses then become a fan of professional golf or singles tennis.
This is a team game. The Flames lost. Not Hamilton or Brodie or Elliott as individuals.
There's no such thing as a curse except in the lacking of mental toughness in the minds of the 'victims' of such an excuse.
And losers complain about refs. I'm not saying sometimes bad calls don't lead to goals for or against...of course they do. Like they have since literally the first time the game was ever played with a ref. Professionals need to win games in the face of mistakes by refs.
I yelled at Johnny to shoot, but he's not an idiot or a garbage player because what he saw at ice level under that intense pressure was different than what I saw from my couch. Nobody was calling him an idiot on his multiple other fantastic passes this game.
I think Hamilton and Brodie should be begging their teammates for forgiveness and should smarten the f--k up next game but give it a rest. They screwed up. Everyone has a turn once in a while. Maybe we should work a bit harder at making the Ducks pay for their mistakes...
This was a brutal game to lose but I really only started to get mad when I came in and read the foolish spaz posts in this thread.
The team found a way to lose again in spite of having almost played well enough to win. It sucks. So suck it up and smash them 8-3 at home and pick it up from there.
We easily could have been watching no flames playoffs this year. But this team found a way to get in. Abandoning them because of a few bs bounces and a few stupid plays is pathetic.
