For the Oilers it will be an emotional moment, as they leave the desert and look at the Oasis that is the NHL playoffs, knowing in their hearts that all too soon it will be back to the desert with them. So they will put their hearts and souls into this, come charging out of the gates with passion and fire and desire.
Of course the media and the fans are saying, its the sharks maaaannnnnn, this will be easy they're banged up and old and T-Mac will have an ace to grind (I can't figure that one out since T-Mac was a major part of the problem there, and whenever he returns to San Jose the people sniff the air and mutter, "Oh look its T-Mac, I thought I smelled failure and inadequacy"
The Oilers will come out and play hockey liked they've never played before. McDdavid's beautiful cross overs will be sighed at and there won't be a dry seat in the place. Talbot will stretch and reach for pucks, Draisaitl will skate hard and will make some nice plays.
For the Sharks its Wednesday.
Sharks 5 Oilers 3
