You think if Kesler connected with Frolik with his attempted sucker punch, it wouldn't be considered a sucker punch? How in any way would Frolik know Kesler was going to start throwing punches? Its NHL code not to punch someone without their gloves off. That is most definitely a sucker punch.
Without warning? Come on, man. He just crosschecked Perry to the ice and Ritchie is rushing him after the whistle while drawing back his arm. Rozsival must've thought "we're gonna talk about ponies" if he was dumb enough to think that Ritchie wasn't going to hit him. In that case, he should quit hockey because he lacks the basic skills of determining event probability.

Also, I really don't care that a whole bunch of media organizations used the incorrect term. An entire group being mistaken doesn't somehow make them right.
