I have had wood######s causing damage to my acrylic stucco wall for about four years now. Nothing works - I've tried everything. BirdX works until they move 10 feet to the side of it. Pinwheels, fake owls, noise, spraying with water. Nothing works.
Don't go for the pellet gun as killing them is illegal. They are a protected migratory bird species.
Good luck. What I've found works is the second you hear them, chuck or slingshot some gravel at them. It's non-lethal but eventually they get annoyed enough to not come back. PM me if you want more details.
