Bieksa is one of those guys you hate but would love on your team. He sounded pretty respectful of Gio in that interview, said Gio answered the bell.
There's a reason why his teammates, past and present love him. As a rival fan, you hate him cause he keeps the opposition honest. There's definitely some douchiness in his game like going after Bennett all night, but he did that because Bennett was very physical in that game. So Bieksa was just doing his job, making sure that Bennett wasn't taking any more runs at his teammates.
Flames honestly need more Bieksa types. I'd trade Brouwer and Bouma for Bieksa in a heartbeat.
