Flames and Ducks have the same number of wins, and the only difference in points is down to the fact they have pushed 9 (!) more of their losses into extra time than the Flames have.

We were even on points with them (might even have been ahead briefly) just a couple weeks ago.

Chicago meanwhile has been well ahead of us in wins and points all season long.

The last two games have shown the Flames can play with the Ducks (not to mention we drubbed them earlier this season).

The Flames can beat them but we have to play our game, not their game and that's the challenge. Flames get away from their game when things get greasy and that needs to be corrected. It would help if the refs helped cut out the hacking and whacking by calling penalties appropriately.
