Lo and behold...
If I understand the premise, they're saying that Orkin uses "science" to not only kill pests that are in your house, but also prevent new pests from coming in.
I believe it's supposed to be a family of log rollers who use their pool for practicing log rolling, and not swimming. See, that's funny because everyone knows pools are for swimming, not log rolling.
Their kids have a bunch of their "pool toys" piled up beside the house and they just saw a termite by the wood pile. The mom called Orkin to use their "science" to keep the termites away.
At the end, I think the mom is saying "She's bobbing the log. You know what I mean? You bob that log, Candace!"
The unanswered question, of course, is who is that commercial's target audience?
