Hell of a win, and an amazing turnaround from early in the season when things looked hopeless. Feels so good to be back in the post season!
As for the game, I thought they were pretty sloppy in the 1st period with Elliott bailing them out. Then they found a higher gear in the 2nd, and locked it down nicely in the 3rd. This team is so confident when they have a lead now, which bodes well for the playoffs.
Great game from Bennett. I have a feeling he's gonna bust out in the playoffs.
That play by Johnny and Bennett...goddamn! Gaudreau is such a brilliant player when he's firing on all cylinders. That pass was unreal, and Sam's pass back to him was equally amazing. That was just so fun to watch.
Next order of business: end the Anaheim curse!
