Umm, in what way were they intimidated? Seriously. You're looking at the final score and extrapolating. Two thirds of the way through the second, the shots were something like 16-11. Neither team was really intimidating or outplaying the other.
We did struggle on our passing, no doubt about that. But the real problem the Kings caused for us was they trapped like mad, and trapped very effectively. Even at 0-1, they were stacking four on the blue line and it just continued all night. It worked, so good for them.
