They're not putting the puck into dangerous areas and there isn't a net front presence.
They cycle it around the outside and try shots from terrible places/angles or from the point and just miss entirely. Brodie on PP1 doesn't help in that regard as he can't get it through to the net in any dangerous fashion.
Remember when Johnny from the goal line would quickly put it on Monahan's tape 5 feet in front to put it home? They're too afraid to put the puck into that area now.
Little creativity. Something has to change.
