Traffic in Calgary is not caused by volume. It is caused by painfully bad drivers - people who drive 50kph on Deerfoot, people who can't bother to move when the light is green, people who turn left so slowly a turtle could beat them, people who have to have to 100 feet between them and the car in front.
If people here drove with any semblance of skill, there'd be no such thing as rush hour.
