Do you really care that much about that? I mean I'd like it too, but I don't think it makes a huge difference as to how the playoffs play out. All the teams are just that close in the pacific and the west.
Also worth considering that the Oilers are probably worse at home (against competitive teams, that is), while the Flames are arguably better on the road.
So regardless of who is 1, 2 points up or down at the end, I don't think people will care that much when looking back on the season. The only thing that will stand out is what happened in the post season. And I'd feel equally as confident if the Flames started their series on the road or at home tbh.
