As long as the team plays the way they have since mid January they have a chance against anybody the could possibly face (especially the Oilers).
If the Flames do beat the Ducks, it will remind of '04 when we beat Detroit. I had no hope of them winning that series, but said IF they did, they're going to the cup finals. If the Flames do play the Ducks and win, I'm not even joking when I say we have a real shot at the cup.

But, the fact is, no matter how good some teams are in the regular season, some teams just don't match up well at all.

-Pittsburgh always beat Washington, no matter if the Caps win the President Trophy

-Leafs always beat the Sens, even though Sens are higher in the standings

-Habs have the Bruins number most of the time

-Preds have never beaten Sharks in the playoffs

As cool as it would be for the Flames to beat the Ducks, I would honestly take my chances with literally every other team in the West instead of the Ducks.
