Connor McDavid Sets Personal Record for Career Points in 4-3 Anaheim Win

The Oilers’ superstar, Conner McDavid, really showed what a team with Conner McDavid on it can do again last night as the Anaheim Ducks took a 4-3 win in regulation. The budding hall of famer bested his previous record for career points with a goal and two assists and was set to give a statement regarding the watermark accomplishment to the press, post-game. The youthful wonder was cut short at the podium, however, as Oilers’ owner, Daryl Katz, instinctively wandered over and placed his arms around McDavid, in a firm yet gentle embrace, while releasing a deeply contented sigh, his head snuggled soundly at the breast of the franchise Phenom.
