There is at least evidence that curcumin (which is in turmeric) does have some promise as a treatment. It shows some efficacy for a variety of diseases but hasn't been thoroughly studies from what I can see. But curcumin is different than an IV of turmeric. Turmeric is 98% other stuff and 2% of the POTENTIAL good stuff. And of course no idea how the material in the IV was prepared but likely not in a FDA (or like) regulated facility ensuring purity of active ingredient and harmless impurities and other additives.

People are idiots. All these morons running around pretending to be doctors doing experiments on people while having no understanding of actual molecular level physiology, the scientific method or how to interpret data. Annoys the hell out of me (as a scientist).
