I am a Doctor within my office and only within my defined scope.
I am Doctor of Eyes basically. Not going to give health advice to someone with a history of congestive heart failure or Autism not having mumps.
Chiropractors have to try and expand their scope because physiotherapists largely provide the same thing as they do. Physiotherapists can slide into Pseudoscience as well. When i had a back injury following an accident mine tried cupping on me. I went with it for ####s and giggles and to freak out my wife with the welts it leaves. I knew it did jack-all. The Intramuscular stimulation worked great though and is science based.
