Jeez...the whole point of my post was not to get a critique of my price but to show how people act. How is this any different than going into a store, seeing a product for $50, taking it to the register and saying $25, being told no, and to respond with "eat a d*ck".

And I appreciate the feedback from those that automatically assumed the Kijiji posted was right about his claim of cost of buying this card new. Especially from someone looking for a deal. As some may know, there are many variants of video card available. The one that I have listed has a price range from $709.00 to $898.00. To me discounting a product by 26% of the cost of a new card (including GST plus the cost of the two year warranty depreciated by four months) is fair. Using the price point of $550 for a $680 card would be a discount of 25% (again a $680 card would be $714 after tax). So what is the difference between my offer using real prices and the made-up claim by a Kijiji poster?

All I wanted was to share my experience with the users on this board without being attacked regarding my pricing techniques.
