This year Paul Byron is shooting 23.2% and Markus Granlund is shooting at 17%. Let's not kid ourselves into thinking those levels are sustainable for either player. (Before this year Byron's career shooting percentage was 15.82% while Granlund's was 12.31%)
They're both having great years, and that will naturally cause us Flames fans some consternation, but it's not like we let elite players walk for nothing.
Both players will come back down to earth next year and, at least in Granlund's case, we'll once again be glad we traded him.
