Treliving has put together a well balanced team that doesn't appear to have any huge weaknesses as they transition from rebuild to potential contender.

I also think the trade he pulled off to get Hamilton is one of the best deals since Sutter brought in Kiprusoff for a 2nd rounder. Guys like Hamilton hardly ever become available in the NHL and we are watching him steadily improve into one of the league's best defensemen. I look back and am still amazed that Boston let him go for some draft picks that look unlikely to become impact players in the NHL.
Granlund is an average player that is benefitting right now from playing with the Sedins. His 20 goal season is no more impressive than Colborne's 19 goal, 44 point season last year as it's on losing teams where he's playing more than he would on a good team. He wouldn't be getting over 17 minutes a game with the Flames.

Byron IMO is a more valuable player than Granlund because he brings a lot more to the table outside of scoring as he's great on the PK and his speed can be a game changer. When Granlund isn't scoring he's invisible.
