Oh I agree, and I don't necessarily like their chances of maintaining much long term success with their cap situation, it just gets tiresome reading about how great it will be when McDavid leaves them in the middle of his prime. I'd love to see that but it's not going to happen. He's an Oiler for life, and I say life because I know in 20 years when he's retired and the Oilers are a tire fire again their fans will be right there to remind us that once upon a time they had a great player play for them.
