Let's see what this team is made of. They've been cold/hot/cold/hot all season long. I'm worried after this crazy good hot streak, that another cold streak is coming, and at the worst possible time. Let's continue to set the pace in the West!

The Flames have lost four straight games twice this season:
5–12 Nov (@ LA 5-0; @ ANA 4-1; v. DAL 4-2; v. NYR 4-1)
19–24 Jan (v. NSH 4-3; v. EDM 7-3; @ TOR 4-0; @ MTL 5-1)
They have lost three straight games once, in the first three games of the season:
12–15 Oct (@ EDM 7-4; v. EDM 5-3; @ VCR 2-1 S/O)
Otherwise, the Flames have not lost more than two in a row.
This notion that the team has run "hot and cold" is a myth. They had a bad start, and then were solid for two full months between mid Nov and early Jan. They had a "cold streak" of six or seven games in mid Jan, and have been blistering hot since.
There is no good reason to think that there is another cold streak on the horizon, unless you classify .500 hockey as such. I expect the Flames to continue the trend of winning more than they lose, and not losing more than one or two games in a row.
