Pretty terrible article overall.

They started 5-10-1.

Since that point they have gone 19-10-2, followed by 1 ugly week where they went 0-4-0 (while falling behind each game 4-0), followed by another stretch of 12-2-1.

That's a rough start with a new coach (see: De Boer in SJ, Vigneault in NYR, Trotz in WSH) followed by a 31-16-3 pace the rest of the way. They're the 6th best team since Nov 15, with the 4th best PP and 8th best PK over that span.

Also, replacing Wideman's #4 role with Michael Stone and Jokipakka/Kulak's #6 role with Bartkowski has also lead to another significant improvement during the 7 game win streak.

It's also worth noting the Flames are 26-0-1 (.963) when leading after 2 periods.
