My point is that we should wait until there's a solution that solves everything 100% when there's a reasonablely easy to implement option available that solves 95% of the problem.
I remember watching a shoutout years ago between Edmonton and Vancouver, where the Edmonton player shot the puck, and it very obviously lodged under Luongo's pad (but you couldn't see the puck). Luongos pad slid entirely into the net, then he pulled it back out of the net before lifting his pad up. I don't think there could ever be a camera angle that would solve that problem. Anyway, after a review that took around 10 minutes, it was rightfully called a goal.
