Spend the night out at the bar drinking with a group of buddies. The crowd was pretty lame so we decided to hit the street and find another drinking establishment. One of the guys bolted across the street and full on was smoked by a car. He flew over the car, cracking the wind shield with his leg and landed on his back like 20 feet behind the car.

We were plastered, and in a bit of shock at what we'd just seen. He lay on the ground for a bit and people started to gather around him and ask him if he was okay - he insisted he was, but they would not let him get up. An ambulance came and insisted he go to the hospital, he fought with the EMT and said he had plans and had to go - they relented and let him go. We helped get him collected, but he was missing a shoe, we looked everywhere and could not find his damn shoe - he dropped the second shoe and went out in his socks.

We went out drinking for a couple more hours and he went drink for drink with us. After a while we started to slow down he started to fade quickly and decided he'd better go. Not sure how he got home, but his motorcycle was not at work the next morning, and he did not show up to the office for 4 days and when he did - he was a mess. He broke his ankle (on the wind shield) and had road burns all over his body. First question he asked - what the hell happened to my shoes - do you know how hard it was riding my bike home with no shoes?
