I am not sure I quite believe the division in the room during Iginla's last years here. I remember a number of new faces to the Flames not even being asked, but volunteering the information that "this is the most close-knit team I have ever been on". I swear one of those comments came from Anton Babchuk.

I at least take everything with a grain of salt when it comes from the media. Nothing gets more clicks than TMZ headlines. I am not saying it isn't true - I am just saying that I recall a number of players over the years that were new to the team saying stuff about how good that locker room was. Of course it could very well be that they were just making it up, but I specifically remember Babchuk not even being asked. It was a conversation about him re-signing on the Flames, and he went out and stated that he has never played on a closer team and that fact makes him want to stay in Calgary.
