So an unfortunate bump here...

Recently moved to Calgary from Manitoba and therefore had to switch over my insurance and registration to Alberta. So I get everything in line, however the screws holding my Manitoba plate to my car have become so corroded and rusted they are impossible to get off.

I've been meaning to go see a shop to help me out, but times have been busy and now I think I've been hit by a photoradar (I saw the flash go off), but with my with old Manitoba plate on my car still.

Does anyone know what will happen? By looking up my plate I think it will be fairly obvious I am the previous owner of that plate, however it is no longer a valid plate. Ugh any info out there?
