Legally blind means you can not correct the vision past 20/200 with glasses basically.

This device takes a very high resolution video and displays it on two OLED screens in front of the eye with no perceived lag. That is the breakthrough part. I have tried devices previously that caused naseau and had big delays. Which made motion hard. The other breakthrough Is being able to quickly adjust focus for different distances. In past you would need to manually adjust focus. Which also makes it difficult to move around and do things.

Not knowing any specifics of Olivia's case. It is probably a loss of her central
Vision. If you magnify the video enough you can put the image outside of the impacted area.
