For all we know they may be worse, or even that Negan himself was part of this group originally and somehow escaped. Another thing is they may be so cryptic as to not reveal how evil they actually are.

What got me thinking more it ammo. They are going to need a poop tonne yet there is no mention of this. Hey we got a bunch of guns and crates of ammo. I mean I don't expect 5 mins of them cross loading ammo crates, but at least give us a throw away line that acknowledges it, or show ammo crates in the building with MRE's.
