Elliot - Top 3 stats last year. He's been exactly like that recently.
Giordano, Brodie, and Hamilton - Dare I say the Flames have 3 D who are in the NHL's top 10 when they're all on their game? We certainly know Giordano is. In another thread someone mentioned that Dougie is top 6 for NHL D points for the past 365 days. Brodie is dominating every game since Stone was acquired and he's playing like last year, when many thought he was better than Gio! Add Stone and Engelland's toughness / shut down role, plus Bartkowski's skating ability and you have a solid top 6.
Frolik - Backlund - Tkachuk is a top 3 line in the NHL in advanced stats.
Gaudreau - Monahan - Ferland is dominating like they were two years ago with Hudler. At that time it was one of the hottest lines (if not the hottest) in the NHL.
Versteeg - Bennett - Brouwer. All of these players, when playing their best, are arguable solid 2nd liners. They bring a mix of speed, skill, and strength to the 3rd line and have no troubles finishing.
Bouma - Stajan - Chiasson. They skate hard, can hit, and do not give other lines an easy time.
This team can make noise in the playoffs.
