The CPS is now being accused of essentially covering up the theft and recovery of that police rifle.

I've been willing to give Chaffin some slack on some of the more entrenched HR issues but to me this one is 100% on him. It has never sat well with me that they miraculously recovered the rifle and no one was ever charged.
