The Flames rode Kiprusoff to the ground, with as much as 76 games in one season, and Talbot, as good as he has been, is not Kiprusoff. And we all know the Flames performance in the playoffs aside from 2003-04 (which coincidentally he only played 65 games). Talbot will be dead tired by the playoffs, and the Oilers will start blaming their goalie once they inevitably fall to no good.
