I doubt he is picked up anyway from Las Vegas as his contract would probably be a burden on them. I know I'm beinf harsh on Brouwer, but the NHL is a business and Treliving's job is on line. He owes Brouwer nothing and his play hasn't earned defense up to date. I do hope he improves his play down the stretch though to quiet down detractors like myself though.

Agree fully. Its a business. Fair is fair.
Brouwer is not earning full 4.5 million contract if a 3RW or 4RW so let him go if LV wants him. More cap space for us. Brouwer just needs to look in mirror if upset with Flames not protecting him.
Ferland and Lazar have more upside at this stage requiring protection. Of course the last 19 games might change our views.
