That said hope Lazar can find his potential here. I haven't watched him enough at the NHL level to know if hes even shown flashes of his junior career.

At first I felt that the 2nd rounder was a steep price and probably still is. But if you also take into consideration the Flames had 2 extra draft picks (2nd & 6th) in last years draft and turned that into Tyler Parsons and Matthew Phillips. Then losing out on 2 picks this year isn't that big of a deal.
