This might be his only bad pick to be honest, but he probably had no other options.
Pittsburgh was the right call at the time he left us, they were hot and looking good.
Boston fit his style and he was fairly successful.
Colorado came off a very good year and looked like a young team with a bright future.
Everything will always be 20/20 in hindsight but can't fault him for his moves.
Agreeing to this one though is kinda a bummer but it's likely there weren't any other options out there. Can't force a contender to take an aging veteran to play third and fourth line minutes.
