Shocked as in "Wow, that's a lot of money", or shocked as in "How dare you insult me with your offer"?

I'm in the exact same situation as Crazy Flamer (I started this thread shortly after the accident), and an adjuster, representing the guy who hit me, is now putting together all the information to make me an offer.

I'm not interested in pursuing it through a lawyer. I feel fine now, and my main goal is putting the whole thing behind me. My desire with the compensation is that it is worthwhile for the inconvenience I've gone through.
