Come on. He exercised his no trade clause and took advantage of the unprecedented latitude extended to him by management. Anything that he did after the point of the trade had virtually nothing to do with the Flames.
To those who are concerned about Iginla's ability to play within a system, before playing in Colorado he was also productive through 15 games in a Pittsburgh playoff run, and then was a top-three scorer in Boston who was also among the best plus/minus players for the Bruins. He has looked awful this year, but so much of that has to do with how awful Colorado is.
