John Shannon still speculating that LA acquiring Bishop was not only to improve their goaltending, but also to keep Bishop away from a rival (us). Even if Calgary hadn't made an offer, still seems to me that they were sniffing.
I don't think the Flames can go into 2017/2018 with Elliott and Johnson, as whatever results we may be yielding at this very moment, both goalies have proven they can't be "the guy" and also struggle to be an effective tandem. The summer should be interesting.
