Were the shoe on the other foot, I'd feel the same way. Call a penalty it it's illegal - if not, the players can assume they're within the rules, and the injury was an unfortunate side effect of tight checking defensive coverage and an aggressive gameplan.
Or I could harbour a grudge against the Wild that extends beyond games where we play the Wild. Nah.

This kind of backward logic excuses the recent incarnation of the despicable Vancouver Canucks since they technically got away with all their garbage and embellishment.
Sorry, that's a terrible attitude. There's nothing admirable or excusable about targeting someone's hands because you can't deal with them within the rules.
That Wild team is full of cowardly cheap-shot artists, and they can implode and choke out of the playoffs early for it.
