The thing I don't like about the system is how passive the blue line is in the offensive zone. So many chances to jump into the slot on the cycle are passed up for point shots. Great for guys like Hamilton but not so much for Brodie or Gio. The Penguins won it all last year with Letang, Schultz, Daley etc being bigger threats than Gully has Gio/Brodie being.
