It's a no brainer for me.
Iggy in a limited 3rd/4th line role along with some PP time could be very effective. Don't discount what the energy of what is likely his final playoff drive would do for him either, especially with the Cgy fans behind him.
Also what no one is talking about is he would be a focal point for the media and fans and that would take pressure off the young core and let them be loose and play.
The last time a Flames legend played his final season here was 89 and we all know what happened then. Not saying that's gonna happen but if goaltending got hot you just never know in the West this year....dare to dream.
And really the cost will be a 3rd rounder in a very weak draft.
