The Flames were an underdog in all their playoff series the last time he dragged them to a final.
The Flames obviously wouldn't be favorites but if San Jose could choke against someone else I think the Flames have just as good of a shot as anyone to make it to the cup finals out of the west.
Iginla today is exactly the player that Brouwer was sold as when he was acquired. The Flames still need that player. Iggy would be a meaningful upgrade to this lineup even if he wasn't a franchise legend.
