What a great time that run was, regardless of the end result. I'm glad I was young enough to be at all the games, and not pay too badly with hangovers. Later rounds, tailgating in the parking lot, in summer-like weather, oh the mammaries!

I was at game 6 against Detroit. When Gelinas scored that OT goal I jumped so high out of my seat I lost my footing briefly and just about fell into the row in front of us. That was the loudest I've ever heard the Dome. The "go Flames go" chant just before the anthems was absolutely deafening, and it was even louder after they won. Then being on the Red Mile, hugging strangers and high-fiving cops...so much fun. That was such a magical time to be a Flames fan.
