We've been pretty spoiled by players making the jump directly to the NHL. First Monahan, then Gaudreau out of college. Bennett hasn't met expectations (as the highest ever Flames draft pick) but has still contributed at the NHL level. Now Tkachuk exceeding all expectations in just his rookie year as an 18/19 year old.
Now we just need some defensemen to graduate and hopefully Jankowski earns a spot next year as well.
