The thing is that there are quite a few teams that lack that bomb of a slapshot that he does possess.
As much as it would be strange, the team that makes the most sense to acquire Wideman is the Oilers. They lack that on their powerplay and they have Russell already who is obviously familiar with Wideman.
If you can utilize Wideman in a manner that makes sense (as your #6 and on your first PP unit) he is a useful player. Unfortunately for him, the Flames have 4 options right now that are better (Stone, Hamilton, Brodie, Gio) on the PP.
I would not be surprised if the return for Wideman is close to or slightly greater than what they paid for Stone.
