Don't like it. Duchene eats up $6M for the next 2 years which is tough to fit in and then he will require a 6-8 year deal at $6-$8M when he is 28. Sure he is better than Bennett over the next 2 years but unless you think the Flames are winning the cup this year or next it is a bad move. Bennett will be 21 next year is is looking at a 2-3 year bridge deal likely no more than $3M per then will be a 23-24 year old RFA who hopefully signs a 7-8 year deal at $5-$7M
