Both aren't an issue. I don't advocate for an Iginla trade but the acquisition cost would be low and his cap hit would be about 1.4 this late in the year.
Michael Stone for example had a cap hit of four million to start the season. However the Coyotes retained half of that and we're 3/4th through the season so it's only just over half a million for the Flames.
We could add Iginla's 1.4 and still have room to work with.
