I don't mind the Flames going to a 4-4-1 model, but I only support it if it's for a legit top 4 defenseman like Barrie or someone who makes losing a guy like Frolik worth it.

The league has to prove that they negotiated a deal ahead of time, unless the Flames asked for permission to talk to Stone ahead of time or sign him minutes after the expansion draft concludes, it will be very hard to prove.
