Seems like a not-unreasonable choice.
President Trump announced Monday that he is naming Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster as his national security adviser, replacing the ousted Michael Flynn.
Trump called McMaster "a man of tremendous talent and tremendous experience” as he introduced him to reporters at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida before leaving to return to Washington.
Retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who has been serving in an acting capacity as national security adviser, will be the National Security Council chief of staff, Trump said.

Trump's sure golfing lots after telling supporters he'll be too busy to golf. His staff can't even not lie about that, saying he played a few holes until his golfing partner said he played 18 holes with Trump, the the White House changed their story.
