On his goal: - Face-off win

- Recognizes where the puck bounces to and crashes the crease

On his assist: - Off a bobbled face-off he rushes the defenceman with the puck forcing a turnover
- Goes to the quiet area behind the net to receive the pass from Bennett
- Sucks 2 Flyers in and tries a pass to the slot that gets deflected back towards the point

- Recovers the loose puck
- Patient with the puck before making a nice rim back to Engelland
- Anticipates Engelland's dump back behind the net and retrieves the puck
- Carries the puck towards the point, drawing Voracek in to him and away from Brodie
- Moves towards the middle in order to feed Brodie in a position to score
